My headset won't show up under any audio settings at all, and neither inputs or outputs are working for it. The dongle for my Xbox controller doesn't pair at all, the controller always blinking, searching. The light on it flashes when my headset is off, but turns solid after I turn it on. The dongle for my headset is able to connect to the headset itself. The USB's show up when I look at what USB's are connected, meaning they are physically recognized. My original guess was it was because they were both M$ focused, but I had heard that most gaming controller work out of the box on most distros, including Xbox One controllers.įor some additional details, here is what I've noticed while trying to troubleshoot these issues: Simply put, I had two of them, one for pairing to my Lucidsound LS50 headset, and another for pairing to my Xbox One controller. One issue I had on both distros and have been searching around the internet for answers or a workaround for was a solution to my USB dongle issues. Originally I was using Garuda, until I switched yesterday to Pop OS for stability.

I recently started using Linux this past week. The short of it is this is just a copy of that, but hoping I can find an answer here. So I tried to get some answers in another sub, but after a couple days I'm guessing my post will be lost to obscurity.
